Book launch
Following on from the success of her first book launched in November 2007, local author Sarah Lucas has published her slithery sequel to Snail Trail, the slithery tale featuring a Great African Land Snail.

Snails Don’t Burp is altogether a more boy-orientated book, which is reflected in its predominantly blue cover but it is hoped that, like the first book appealed to all youngsters from 6 to 11, so will the sequel. Alton Sports Centre is once again the venue for the official launch, where Sarah will sign books for a couple of hours and parents and children get to see the stars of the stories up close, hopefully wide awake after a long hibernation.
If you fancy getting hold of one of these fantastic children’s books, priced at £5.99, either pop along to Alton Sports Centre between 9am and 12.30pm on Saturday 26th April, or visit the website, www.madaboutsnailbooks.com where you can get loads more information on the Great African Land Snail and order direct from Sarah.
